Alfonso S. Reyes Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alfonso S. began their career as a Controller at the Occupational Medical Corporation in 1988, where they were responsible for financial management. Alfonso S. then transitioned to the role of Controller at SFSPCA in 1994, where they continued to oversee financial operations until 1999. In 2001, they joined the Asian Art Museum as a Controller, a position they held until 2005. From 2005 to 2006, Alfonso served as the CFO and Deputy Assessor at the City and County of San Francisco Assessor Recorder Office. Alfonso S. then moved on to Leadership Public Schools, where they worked as a Controller from 2006 to 2007. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Financial Analyses and Special Projects at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art since 2007.
Alfonso S. Reyes Jr. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles, from 1977 to 1979. Alfonso S. went on to complete a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Information Systems at Golden Gate University from 1985 to 1987.
