Justin Partier

Justin Partier is a highly experienced lighting designer with a diverse background in theatrical productions. Currently serving as the Lighting Director at San Francisco Opera since May 2018, Justin has also operated Justin A. Partier Lighting Design since June 2003. Throughout the career, Justin has contributed as an Associate and Assistant Lighting Designer for various Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional productions across the United States. Previous roles include Resident Assistant Lighting Designer at San Francisco Opera, Lighting Director at Aftermath, and Resident Lighting Designer at West Virginia Public Theatre. Justin holds a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama/Theatre Design from San Francisco State University.
