Arturo Dominguez Escalante is a highly skilled structural engineer with significant experience in both residential and commercial projects. Currently serving as a Resident Engineer at San Francisco Public Works since April 2023, Arturo previously held the position of Structural Design Engineer at GFDS Engineers from August 2021 to March 2023, focusing on the design of multi-million-dollar structures. Arturo's expertise includes designing new and retrofitted structures using various materials such as steel, wood, concrete, masonry, and aluminum. As a Structural Engineering Research Assistant at San Francisco State University, Arturo designed a Tiny Shed model and developed a comparative analysis with the 2018 International Residential Code. Additionally, Arturo gained early career experience as a Structural Engineer Intern at Mar Structural Design, working on a housing project under professional supervision.
