Marie Matheson

Marie Matheson has extensive experience in both animal care and customer operations. Currently serving as a volunteer with the Humane Society of the United States since 2007, Marie plays a vital role in animal rescue efforts across the country, while also volunteering as a dog socializer for the San Francisco SPCA. Previous leadership roles include Vice President of Customer Operations at Chairish and Vice President & General Manager at Pet Express Animal Transport, where Marie managed P&L responsibilities and enhanced client relationships. Marie's career in customer experience began at Expedia, where a focus on optimizing service across multiple contact centers was emphasized. Educationally, Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising from Florida State University.
