San Francisco Symphony
Carissa Castaldo is a skilled program manager currently serving in the POPS and Presentations department at the San Francisco Symphony since July 2024. Previously, Carissa held key roles in the Seattle Symphony, including Popular Programming Administrator and Artistic Relations Administrator from August 2022 to July 2024. With a strong background in performance, Carissa was a soprano with Seattle Opera from September 2011 to September 2023 and with the Metropolitan Opera from 2006 to 2010. Additional experience includes serving as Programming Administrator and Event Manager at Edmonds Center for the Arts from May 2018 to July 2022. Carissa holds a Master of Music from Manhattan School of Music (2001-2004) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Long Island University (1997-2001), along with recent studies at Eastern Gateway Community College (2020-May 2023).
