San Francisco University High School
Laura Spivy is currently the UHS Board Chair and a Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign. She has served as a Trustee of UHS since 2017. With a strong interest in education as an equalizer, Laura has spent over fifteen years working on public and private school boards focusing on non-profit leadership, finance, and development, mainly targeted toward increasing financial aid and teacher compensation. Laura is currently a trustee at Gateway Public Schools (a charter management organization in San Francisco), San Francisco University High School, and formerly a trustee for the Stanford Business School Fund and San Francisco Day School. She has significant board leadership experience, including eight years as chair and 12 years as treasurer. Laura received her MBA from Stanford University and holds a B.A. in Economics and East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University.

San Francisco University High School, a college preparatory secondary school, offers an intellectually stimulating, personally enriching, and academically challenging program in the liberal arts and sciences to an able and diverse student body.
