Nehal Raj is Co-Managing Partner at TPG, a global investment firm, where he co-leads the firm’s flagship private equity business (TPG Capital) and its technology-focused solutions capital business (TPG Tech Adjacencies). Prior to joining TPG in 2006, Nehal was an investor at Francisco Partners and M&A banker at Morgan Stanley. Nehal received an AB with Distinction in Economics and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Nehal currently serves on the board of directors of a number of public and private software companies. In addition, Nehal serves on the Advisory Board of the non-profit Breakthrough San Francisco and previously served on the Board of Trustees of San Francisco Day School, where he was a member of the Executive Committee, Chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee, and helped lead a significant facilities expansion at the school. Nehal also serves on Stanford University’s Undergraduate Cabinet and H&S Council.
