Kristine Kern

Kristine Kern is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in emergency medical services and education. Currently serving as a Senior Coach at Equilibria in Health Care since January 2019, Kristine also holds the position of Course Coordinator for the EMS Education Program at San Jacinto College, a role maintained since August 2014. As the owner of The Kern Education Group since December 2012, Kristine emphasizes the importance of education for future improvement. Formerly, Kristine was a tenured faculty member at the College of the Mainland from January 2002 to January 2014 and served as Assistant EMS Chief at the Friendswood Fire Department between March 2004 and March 2013. Other notable positions include Paramedic roles at SANTA FE FIRE & RESCUE INC and Canyon Lake Fire Ems, a Project Specialist at UTMB Healthcare Systems, and various faculty roles in EMS education. Kristine holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Emergency Medical Technology from San Antonio College.
