Michael Woodson

Michael Woodson has extensive work experience in education and the arts. Michael worked at San Jacinto College South and Et cetera since 1988 as an English professor, Livingart radio producer and host, president of artist rescue mission, and writer. Their responsibilities included teaching various English and literature courses, emphasizing the importance of good grammar and organization. Previously, from 1980 to 1988, they taught English, morality, church history, and served as a yearbook and newspaper advisor, soccer coach, and tennis coach at St. Pius X High School.

Michael Woodson has a Ph.D. in Shakespearean Literature with a focus on Middle Comedies from the University of Houston, which they obtained between 1988 and 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Arts in Literature at the University of Houston from 1982 to 1984. Michael earned their Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and English from the University of St. Thomas (TX) between 1977 and 1980.
