Rezaur Rahman

Rezaur Rahman currently serves as the Director of Sustainability and Energy Management at San Jacinto College since August 2022. Prior to this role, Rezaur held multiple positions at the NYC Department of Education from July 2018 to August 2022, including Deputy Director of Optimization, Energy Project Manager, and Mechanical Engineer. Responsibilities included overseeing operations within the Boiler Compliance and Fuel Division across all five boroughs, ensuring effective communication with approximately 1,500 custodians and contractors, as well as coordinating tasks with various state and city agencies. Rezaur holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Khulna, Bangladesh (2008-2012).
