Travis Yokoyama

Travis Yokoyama is a Senior Regional Planner at San Joaquin Council of Governments. Travis previously worked as an RMA Coordinator (Team lead) at Supermicro from September 2011 to August 2016.

In their previous role, Travis was responsible for overseeing the progress of their team members, cross-training them to improve productivity levels, and developing the draft employee handbook for their department. Travis was also responsible for ensuring that a selected team of co-workers completed the department's annual inventory audit. In addition, Travis was responsible for consolidating and preparing the failure rates of specific inventory for external and internal staff, so problematic inventory could be identified.

Travis has a proven track record of streamlining incoming RMA requests, pricing, repair charges, purchase orders, and customers' questions to generate positive results. Travis is also experienced in forecasting the number of computers repaired for an account to improve output.

With their experience in leadership and customer service, Travis is well-equipped to handle their current role as a Senior Regional Planner at San Joaquin Council of Governments.

Travis Yokoyama received their Master of Arts in Urban Planning from San Jose State University in 2009 and their Bachelor of Arts in Asian-American Studies from California State University in 2004.
