Lori Mitchell

Lori Mitchell, P.E. has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Lori served as the Director for San José Clean Energy since November 2017. Prior to that, they held various roles at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, including Director of Power Procurement & Scheduling, Renewables, and Energy Efficiency from January 2015 to October 2017. Lori also worked as a Manager for Renewable Generation and Power Procurement from March 2012 to December 2014 and as a Manager for Renewable Generation from September 2007 to March 2012. Before their time at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, they were a Senior Engineer at SunPower Corporation from January 1999 to June 2007. Lori began their career as a Staff member at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in 1998.

Lori Mitchell, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Cal Poly Humboldt and an Executive MBA from Texas A&M University.
