Paola Diaz is a highly experienced public health dental hygienist currently employed at San José Clinic since August 2022 and as a registered dental hygienist at Pacific Dental Services since November 2020. Paola has been a dental hygiene student at Del Mar College since August 2018, furthering education in the field. Instructing CPR since May 2016 with certification from the American Red Cross reflects Paola's commitment to healthcare. Previous roles include registered dental assistant at BELLA DENTAL, PLLC, where responsibilities involved assisting dentists and taking patient X-rays, and office manager at My West Mount Houston Dentist Inc. Additionally, Paola has held management roles focused on supply procurement at Bella Dental Services, P.C. and Bella Dental Mason. Education includes an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene/Hygienist from Del Mar College, along with studies at Lone Star College and Houston Community College.

The original safety-net clinic in Houston, the Clinic is a leading provider of quality healthcare services for individuals and families in the greater Houston area who struggle the most with accessing care. Responding to the rising rate of infant mortality in the Mexican community of Houston, in 1922 Monsignor George T. Walsh appealed to the Charity Guild of Catholic Women to establish a free clinic to serve the health needs of the poor. From humble beginnings, San José Clinic has grown into a health home for thousands of Houstonians in need. Ninety-five years later, we proudly uphold the legacy of our founders by continuing to provide healthcare for those who need it most. We are a 501(c)(3), a United Way agency, a Texas Medical Center institution, and a ministry of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
