Sal Pizarro

Sal Pizarro is a seasoned columnist at the San Jose Mercury News, where a column featuring interesting people, places, and events in San Jose and Silicon Valley is published four times a week. With a diverse background in journalism, Sal has held various editorial positions, including Night City Editor, High School Sports Editor, Sports Day Editor, and both Metro and Sports Copy Editor. Additionally, Sal served as the President of the Rotary Club of San Jose from July 2022 to July 2023.
