Eduardo Ibanez-Brambila

Eduardo Ibanez-Brambila has a strong background in information technology, with extensive experience in various roles and responsibilities. Eduardo is currently the Director of Information Technology at San Jose Water, where they began in May 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded Dazzpers in 2020.

Eduardo's most significant work experience was at Flex, where they held multiple senior leadership positions. From 2015 to 2021, they served as the Sr. Director of Enterprise IT, where they were responsible for directing strategy, operations, and implementation of various technologies, including identity and access management, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication. Before that, at Flex, Eduardo served as the Sr. Director of Enterprise Collaboration Systems from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they directed the strategy, operation, and implementation of different technologies, including unified communications and collaboration.

From 2007 to 2012, Eduardo was the Director of IT Operations (Corporate IT) at Flex. Eduardo oversaw the strategy, direction, and standards of all systems running decentralized, including MES infrastructure, end points, storage, backups, and databases. Eduardo achieved several major accomplishments during their tenure, including the adoption of a virtualization program, implementation of a global support team, and data center consolidation.

Prior to that, Eduardo held the position of the Americas Regional Director of IT Operations at Flex from 2003 to 2007. Eduardo directed the IT infrastructure for North America (Canada, USA, Mexico) and Brazil, including network and telecom, data center, and end points. Eduardo led the creation and development of the Americas Helpdesk and implemented best practices across sites.

Eduardo's earlier career includes positions at Citibank as a Regional System Administrator from 1993 to 1997, where they had regional-level systems administration responsibilities, and at COMPUCAJA as a Technical Support and Developer from 1987 to 1993.
