Emily Sanderfer, EIT, is a Junior Engineer at San Jose Water, having joined the company in February 2023. Previously, Emily held the position of Engineering Assistant at BKF Engineers, where work involved creating demo sheets and erosion control sheets, and implementing redlines for various projects. Prior experience includes an internship at Santa Clara Valley Water District, focusing on pipeline project delivery, where key contributions encompassed developing centralized spreadsheets, designing pipeline diagrams, and generating VBA solutions for project updates. In addition, Emily interned at the City of Campbell, contributing to storm drain cover designs and project inspections within the Public Works Department. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Associate's degree in Physics and Math from West Valley College.
