Karen Doughty

Karen Doughty serves as the Registrar at San Juan College since July 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles, notably as the Associate Vice President for Instruction at Odessa College from September 2012 to August 2021. In that capacity, responsibilities included the development and enhancement of standard operating procedures, oversight of course scheduling, and managing compliance with the Texas Perkins Grant and accreditation processes. Additionally, Karen has experience as an Adjunct Professor of Education and previously held the position of Registrar at Odessa College during a time of notable institutional recognition. Earlier in career history, Karen served nearly 21 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant, and held administrative roles at Garmo & Company and Marine Pollution Control. Academic credentials include ongoing doctoral studies in Higher Education at Trident University International, alongside a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science from the same institution and Wayland Baptist University, respectively.
