Julia Cooper

Julia Cooper is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th Grade Educator at San Leandro Unified School District since November 2016, previously holding a similar position at Livermore Valley Charter School. Julia's educational career began with Teach For America as a Kindergarten Teacher, achieving significant academic outcomes through data-driven instruction. Julia also has experience in marketing as an Affiliate Marketing Coordinator at Minted and various internships in advertising and marketing. Julia holds a Master of Education in Urban Education from Cardinal Stritch University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Marketing from Northwestern University, along with ongoing education at the University of Sydney. Additionally, Julia is a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor and has contributed to campus engagement as a Tour Guide at Northwestern University.
