Michelle Stone

Michelle Stone has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as an Instructional Leadership Coach at Hayward Unified School District since August 2002. In this role, Michelle has co-designed and delivered professional development for K-12 leadership teams and instructional coaches, focusing on various educational methodologies. Previously, Michelle chaired the English Language Arts Department, securing over $30,000 in grants for resources. As an English teacher, Michelle developed curriculums for numerous grade levels and participated in Project IMPACT, contributing to educational research and publications. Additionally, Michelle led the creation of a district-wide ELA Pacing Guide and co-directed the annual Hayward High School Poetry Slam and Art Exhibit. Michelle holds multiple degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of California, Los Angeles.
