Coral Minton has extensive experience in both education and accounting. Currently serving as an instructor at Cuesta College since January 2004, Coral teaches subjects such as Health, Women's Health, Multi-Cultural Health, Diving, Swimming, Weight Training, and Circuit Training. Additionally, Coral has been instructing adult education fitness classes for the San Luis Coastal Unified School District since April 2008, focusing on Total Body Conditioning, Flexibility and Balance, and Strength classes for older adults. Concurrently, Coral operates as an accountant for Oasis Associates since July 2003, handling full charge bookkeeping responsibilities. Past roles include coaching diving for SLO Diving and serving as Treasurer for USA Diving. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cal State East Bay. Coral recently attained a Senior Fitness Specialist certification from the American Council on Exercise.

San Luis Coastal USD is home to approximately 7500 students, preschool through 12th grade. Our supportive community recently approved a $177 million bond to repair, modernize, upgrade and expand our facilities throughout the district. Our Schools: San Luis Coastal's schools include 10 elementary, 2 middle, 2 comprehensive high schools, and 1 continuation high school.
