Katie Kleinsmith

Katie (Bowcutt) Kleinsmith currently serves as the Classified Coordinator at the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education, where responsibilities include coordinating local California Community Schools grantees and assisting with the SLO Tobacco-use Prevention Education grant. Previously, Katie held positions as a Wellness Health Educator II at the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County and as a Health Education Specialist I at the County of San Luis Obispo. Additional experience includes roles as a Communicable Disease Investigator, Physical Therapy Aide at Los Osos Physical Therapy, and an Undergraduate Research Fellow at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, focusing on biomechanics and exercise physiology. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an Associate of Arts degree from Cuesta College.
