Michael Specchierla

Michael Specchierla currently serves as the Executive Director of Innovations in Education at the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education and as Executive Director at SLO Partners, roles held since September 2015. Prior to these positions, Michael was a founding teacher at Central Coast New Tech High School within the Lucia Mar Unified School District and worked as a District Elementary Teacher Librarian for Chico Unified School District. Michael has extensive experience in education, having served as a teacher and librarian in multiple school districts and also ran organic farming businesses. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and several other degrees in various fields including History and Library Science from multiple universities.
