James Mills

James (Jim) Mills is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in academia and investment advisory. Currently serving as Principal and Advisor at BLC Fund Advisors, LLC since January 2018, James also contributes as an Ex Officio Member of the Investment Board for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians since May 2013. Previously, James held an academic position as a Clinical Professor of Finance at the Drucker School of Management from August 2007 to May 2017, teaching various finance courses. James has held key roles in organizations such as ING DIRECT, Arrowhead Associates, and First Arizona Savings and Loan, while participating in governance and risk management committees. James has also imparted knowledge as a Visiting Professor at several international institutions and has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oregon.
