Katherine Horn

Katherine Horn currently serves as a General Education Teacher supporting Special Education Preschool IEPs and Programs at San Marcos Unified School District since July 2023. Previously, Katherine held the position of Learning Specialist at Solana Beach School District from August 2015 to July 2023 and worked as a Preschool Teaching Assistant at Newton Public Schools from September 2013 to July 2015. Katherine also has experience as a coach for JV Girls Soccer and Freshman Girls Lacrosse at Needham Public Schools during the 2014-2015 school year. Katherine earned a Master of Science in Mild/Moderate Special Education from Simmons University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Delaware in 2013. Education credentials also include attendance at Needham High School from 2005 to 2009.
