Daman (Diggy) Grewal has a significant amount of work experience in the technology and IT field. Most recently, they served as the Chief Technology Officer for the San Mateo County Community College District, starting in April 2019. Prior to this role, they were the Vice Chancellor / Chief Technology Officer for the City College of San Francisco from June 2018 to April 2019. During their time at both institutions, Grewal led various IT initiatives and projects, while also overseeing the daily operations of the IT departments.

Before joining the San Mateo County Community College District, Grewal served as the CIO for the California Maritime Academy from April 2015 to June 2018. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT Services at Ohlone College from March 2008 to April 2015. Grewal's earlier experience includes a role as the Manager of IT Services at Stanford University from March 2005 to March 2008.

Throughout their career, Grewal has demonstrated expertise in IT administration, operations, systems and programming, desktop and network services, and customer support. Daman (Diggy) Grewal has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which was obtained from Delhi University between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended AFBBS and Air Force Golden Jubilee Instt., although the years of attendance are not provided. In 1998, Grewal pursued an MBA at the University of Lincoln, completing the program in 2000. Daman (Diggy) then enrolled in the Advanced Computer Security & Advanced Project Management Programs at Stanford University, where they studied part-time on-campus from 2006 to 2008.
