Lindsey Freeland is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in budget management, policy analysis, and public service. Currently serving as Financial Services Manager II for San Mateo County Libraries, Lindsey oversees a $70 million budget for 13 library locations, managing accounting, contracting, and performance data. Previous roles include interim financial services management and budget analysis for the County of San Mateo, where Lindsey implemented innovative budgeting practices and trained new analysts. Additionally, work as a contracted policy analyst for the County of Santa Clara involved developing reports on women's status and advocating for gender-responsive policies. Education includes a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution, complemented by international experience at Sciences Po.
