Sereptha Strong is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience in public services, currently serving as the Lead Information Services Librarian at San Mateo County Library since September 1999, where Sereptha has developed the branch library's collection across various materials for adults, teens, and reference. Prior to this role, Sereptha worked as an on-call Reference Librarian for the Alameda County Library in 1999, providing services across multiple branches, with a notable assignment at Newark Public Library. Earlier career experience includes serving as Circulation Supervisor at Harmer E. Davis Transportation Library from 1984 to 1999. Sereptha holds a Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
