Jeff Schmidt

Jeff Schmidt is an experienced educator and leader with a strong background in educational administration and curriculum development. Currently serving as Coordinator for District Improvement and Supports at the San Mateo County Office of Education since October 2020, Jeff previously held positions such as Academic Director at Elitek12 Education Group and Director of the Fab Lab at Bullis Charter School. As President of the California Association for Career Technical Education and CTE Coordinator at Santa Clara County Office of Education, Jeff has made significant contributions to career technical education and STEAM curriculum integration. Jeff's extensive career in education began with roles at Silicon Valley CTE and the Krause Center for Innovation, complemented by a background in music as a keyboard player and drummer for The English Beat. Jeff holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from California State University - East Bay and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a Music Education emphasis from Whitworth University.
