Charlsie C.

Charlsie C. currently serves as a Council Member for the City of Sunnyvale and as a Government & Community Affairs Officer for the San Mateo County Transit District. Previously, Charlsie held the position of Communications Director for the California State Assembly under Assemblymember Alex Lee from December 2020 to April 2023, and worked as a Press/Policy Aide for Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian between October 2019 and March 2021. Additionally, Charlsie was a Public Affairs Specialist at Peninsula Clean Energy and held various roles, including Project Assistant, within Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Charlsie holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Public Administration with a focus on International Development from Tsinghua University.
