David Olmeda

David Olmeda began their work experience in 2000 at the San Mateo County Transit District as the Director of Maintenance. In this role, they oversaw the maintenance division until 2015. In 2015, they were promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Bus, where they took on the responsibility of managing public transportation services for the San Mateo County Transit District. David provided executive management for the Operations Division and served as an adviser on the executive team for the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board and the San Mateo County Transit Authority.

David Olmeda completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1982 to 1989, they attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). Later, from 2014 to 2016, they attended the University of Denver and earned a Master of Science degree in Transportation Management (MSTM).
