Katie Diec

Katie (Pietrak) Diec is an accomplished professional with diverse experience, currently serving as a School Librarian for the San Mateo-Foster City School District since October 2023, where leadership in learning resources and instructional support fosters a culture of literacy. As the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Kate's Safe and Sweet since April 2018, Katie specializes in creating allergy-friendly baking mixes. Also, as the Founder & Owner of Vintage Vinyl Journals, Katie transforms vintage LP records into unique writing notebooks. Previous roles include Owner of Busy Bee Kate, where advocacy and content creation focused on food allergies, and positions within the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America and finance-related consultancies, showcasing a robust background in community engagement and financial management. Katie holds a BS in Finance/Health Care Administration from La Salle University and an MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph's University.
