Jeanette Aviles has extensive work experience in the medical field. Jeanette began their career as a Staff Physician at the Indian Health Service from August 1997 to December 1999. Following this, they joined the San Mateo Medical Center where they served as a Staff Physician at the Fair Oaks Clinic from January 2000 to June 2003. Jeanette then became the Fair Oaks Clinic Medical Director from 2003 to December 2013, and later took on the role of Medical Director - Primary Care Services in June 2008. In 2007, Jeanette Aviles also joined the California Healthcare Foundation as a Cohort 8 - Leadership Fellow, a position they held until 2009.
Jeanette Aviles completed their Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Davis. Jeanette then enrolled at the University of California, San Francisco and earned their MD degree. After that, from 1994 to 1997, they attended the SFGH Prim Care Residency, where they also obtained their MD degree. In 1997, they obtained a certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
