Robert E. Blake, DNP, RN, MS, MBA, NEA-BC, FACHE, CENP has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Robert E. started as an Assistant Vice President of Patient Care at Memorial Hermann Health System in 1999, where they provided leadership in the turnaround of an underperforming facility. Robert E. then served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial Hermann, where they developed and managed their first internal staffing agency. Blake also served as the Vice President & Chief Operations Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer at Memorial Hermann, overseeing a variety of operations and HR functions. In 2017, they joined PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center as the Chief Operations Officer, where they led all operations of a 357-bed acute care hospital. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operations Officer at San Mateo Medical Center. Blake has a track record of implementing strategic initiatives, managing budgets, and driving organizational success.

Robert E. Blake, DNP, RN, MS, MBA, NEA-BC, FACHE, CENP has a diverse education history. Robert E. is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Aspen University, expected to be completed between 2019 and 2023. In 1992, they obtained an MBA degree in Management and Marketing from the University of Houston. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1989, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree specializing in Psychiatric Nursing at Texas Woman's University. In 1981, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing from Houston Christian University.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Robert E. Blake also holds a certification in Workplace Harassment, which they obtained in December 2019 from SMMC.
