Greg Griffiths has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Greg started their career in 2007 as a Sports Camp Counselor at Santa Barbara Family YMCA and later worked as a Coach/Referee at the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Rec. In 2010, they became an Instructional Aide - Special Education at Santa Barbara School Districts and also took on roles at California School Employees Association, including Bargaining Unit/Negotiation Team and Candidate Endorsement Committee. In 2013, they joined Mountain View Whisman School District as an Education Specialist, where they were involved in various tasks such as case management, IEP formulation/implementation, curriculum development, and coaching. Greg continued their career in education, working as an Educational Specialist at Belmont-Redwood Shores School District and Woodside High School. Greg also served as an Education Specialist at San Mateo Union High School District from 2020. Additionally, Greg has experience officiating volleyball matches at the Industrial Volleyball League and working as a Varsity Assistant - Boys Volleyball at The Harker School.

Greg Griffiths earned a BA in Sociology and Education from UC Santa Barbara between 2006 and 2009. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Notre Dame de Namur University, where they obtained an Educational Specialist Credential/M.A. Ed. with a focus on Special Education and Teaching. Greg also holds a certification as an NHFS Certified Coach from the National Federation of State High School Associations.
