Paul Nues

Paul Nues is an accomplished technology professional and athletic coach with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as the Track & Field Sprints and Jumps Coach at San Mateo Union High School District since February 2023, Paul emphasizes individualized training and performance improvement for student-athletes. Previously, Paul held various roles at Bevy, including Staff SRE and Engineering Lead, where significant contributions included modernizing deployment pipelines and enhancing team culture. Earlier work at Clover Health involved leading a large-scale infrastructure migration, while experiences at About.me, AOL, and other tech companies showcase a strong background in systems architecture, software development, and performance optimization. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
