Mary Jane Llanes has extensive experience in communications and media affairs. Mary Jane started their career as a Business Journalist covering capital markets at BusinessWorld Publishing Corporation in 1993. Later, they joined San Miguel Corporation in 2002 as the VP for Communications and Media Affairs Group Head, where they led a team in designing and executing communication plans to support the company's growth strategies. In 2012, they moved to Philippine Airlines as the Head of Corporate Communications, managing communication strategies for various stakeholders until 2015.
Mary Jane Llanes completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the University of Santo Tomas. Mary Jane then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at De La Salle University. Currently, they are enrolled in the Sustainable Business Strategy program at Harvard Business School.
