Divesh Karamchandani

Divesh Karamchandani is an accomplished percussionist and educator with extensive experience in various roles within the music community. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist at the San Francisco Symphony's Education Department since October 2012, Divesh provides weekly percussion lessons in local middle and high schools. Divesh holds multiple positions including Timpani/Percussion at the One Found Sound Chamber Orchestra, Percussion Coach for both San Rafael City Schools and College Park High School, and Timpanist/Percussionist with the Townsend Opera Players. Additionally, Divesh has worked as a freelance percussionist and teacher since September 2012. Divesh's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Percussion Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance and Instrumental Music Education from California State University, Stanislaus.
