Joachim Sauer

Joachim Sauer has a diverse work experience in supply chain management and logistics. Joachim is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Sanacorp Pharmahandel GmbH since December 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Corporate Head of Logistics/SCM at Rodenstock Group from June 2019 to November 2021. Before that, they held the position of Head of Division Logistics at Giesecke & Devrient from April 2009 to May 2019. Joachim also has experience working at Siemens, where they served as a Referent/Commodity Manager in Logistics from March 2006 to March 2009 and as a Senior Consultant/Interim Manager in Supply Chain Management from April 2000 to February 2006. Additionally, they worked as a Key Account Manager at Siemens from August 1997 to March 2000. Joachim started their career as a Werkstudent at Siemens from July 1996 to June 1997 and also worked as a Speditionskaufmann at Panalpina from August 1992 to August 1995.

Joachim Sauer attended Panalpina from 1990 to 1992, where they received a degree in Speditionskaufmann. Joachim later attended Fachakademie für Wirtschaft München from 1995 to 1997, earning a degree in Betriebswirtschaft and becoming a Staatlich geprüfter Betriebswirt.
