Michael Papalia

Michael Papalia is an experienced wine professional with a strong background in sommelier services and wine education. Currently serving as a Winery Representative and Sommelier at San Antonio Winery, Inc. since May 2022, Michael previously owned and managed CiaoCristina, Inc. from April 2015 until its closure in December 2021. As a Proprietor and Wine Educator at LA WINE GUIDE from August 2013 to December 2021 and General Manager at San Antonio Winery from January 2000 to August 2013, Michael developed expertise in retail wine management, education, and buying. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Colorado Denver and has completed sommelier training through the North American Sommelier Association.
