Vipasha Vaibhav

Vipasha Vaibhav has extensive work experience in the field of linguistics and speech expertise. Vipasha started their career as a Marketing Intern at the Indian Road Safety Campaign in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Content Writing Intern at expresspoint.online. Vipasha then gained further experience as a Computational Linguist Intern at Galvanize Test Prep | Entrayn Education Technologies in 2019. In 2020, Vipasha joined Cerence Inc. as a Speech Expert Associate and later transitioned to the role of Speech Expert. At Cerence Inc., they focused on improving and expanding English Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and trained machine learning language models. Vipasha also utilized Python scripting for NLP tasks and automation. Currently, Vipasha is working at Sanas as a Linguist Engineer. Their responsibilities include conducting translation model evaluation, synthesizing linguistic and acoustic phonetic knowledge, analyzing data, and proposing recommendations. Vipasha is also involved in developing automated evaluation techniques for testing artificial voice quality.

Vipasha Vaibhav holds a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics, which was obtained from THE ENGLISH AND FOREIGN LANGUAGES UNIVERSITY between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from Delhi University, graduating in 2018. In addition to their formal education, Vipasha also obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Japanese from The English and Foreign Languages University in May 2020. Furthermore, they received a certification in Natural Language Processing and Big Data for Psycholinguistics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in December 2018.
