Hasan Jackson

Hasan Jackson, PhD, MS-GIS has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Hasan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Sancorp Consulting, LLC. Prior to this, they worked as a Visiting Professor at the University of Maryland and as the Principal Data Scientist & Solution Architect at QUADGRID. Hasan has also held positions at Howard University, Jackson Wellness Group, Inc, ATA, LLC, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Paradigm Investment Capital, USDA, and the University of Maryland College Park. Hasan has extensive experience in data science, research, and teaching, with a focus on geospatial sciences.

Hasan Jackson, PhD, MS-GIS received their Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Mathematics, and Geographic Information Systems and Computer Cartography from the University of Maryland in 2008. Hasan then pursued a Master's Degree in Geospatial Information Science from the same institution, which they completed in 2009. Hasan continued their education at the University of Maryland, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geographical Sciences in 2017.
