Juan Echavarria

Juan Echavarria has worked at Sanctuary AI as a Telerobotics Engineer & Pilot since December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Cloud Robotics Engineer at Advanced Intelligent Systems (AIS) from January 2021 to November 2022. Juan also served as a Robotics Engineer Intern at AIS from January 2019 to October 2020.

Juan Echavarria has a diverse education history. Juan earned a Master of Applied Science degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Specialist in Robotics degree in Industrial and Product Design from Universidad Panamericana, which they completed in 2016. Before that, they pursued a degree in Innovation and Design Engineering with a focus on Product Design Engineering from the same university, studying from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Juan has also earned certifications to enhance their skills. In December 2019, they obtained a NVIDIA DLI Certificate in Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute. In October 2017, they received a certification in importing geometry from other applications using SOLIDWORKS from Lynda.com.
