Fernanda Gianesella Bertolaccini is a Staff Attorney and Volunteer Attorney at Sanctuary for Families since September 2019, specializing in legal matters related to humanitarian relief for immigrant survivors of gender violence. Fernanda has an extensive background in international trade, sustainability, and legal research, having served as a Sustainability & Trade Consultant for the Brazilian Government and as an Event Specialist and International Law Researcher at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Fernanda has also lectured on international trade at Curso Sapientia and gained early legal experience in multiple law firms and as a Community Outreach Volunteer. Holding a PhD in International Business/Trade/Commerce from USP and an LL.M. from Notre Dame Law School, Fernanda's academic and professional pursuits reflect a comprehensive understanding of legal frameworks in both domestic and international contexts.
