Sanctuary for Families
Yanni Dong currently serves as the Deputy Director at The Salvation Army since September 2024 and has been an Anti-Human Trafficking Administrative Associate and Case Manager at Sanctuary for Families since July 2022. Yanni also co-owns the Transitioning Hostel for Sex-trafficked Survivors since January 2019 and previously worked as a Consultant for The Salvation Army from October 2021 to June 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a Program Coordinator for the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific from July 2018 to December 2020. Yanni holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Penn State University, and a Master's degree in International and Intercultural Communication from Waseda University.
