SanctuaryVES builds custom volunteer engagement apps for animal sanctuaries.

Sanctuaries run on volunteer power — but managing onboarding, scheduling, daily care tasks, and team communication is a full-time job on top of an already full-time job. Most teams are held together by group texts, paper binders, and sheer determination.

SanctuaryVES exists to change that.

We build mobile-first, custom-built apps tailored to each sanctuary's animals, property layout, and workflows. Animal profiles. Interactive maps. Daily checklists. Shift sign-ups. Everything your volunteers need, in one calm, easy-to-use place — on their phones, the moment they arrive.

Our first app is already in use at a California farm sanctuary, where it supports volunteer orientation, daily animal care, and team coordination across the property.

SanctuaryVES is founded by Violet Proulx, an operations professional and MSML candidate with a background in financial services, workflow automation, and a deep personal commitment to farm animal welfare. SanctuaryVES is currently accepting a small number of new sanctuary clients.

If you run or coordinate volunteers at an animal sanctuary and you're tired of the logistics getting in the way of the care — we'd love to talk.
