Rebecca Armstrong PCC, FCIPD, MSc has over two decades of work experience in various roles, industries, and organizations.
Rebecca started their career in 2001 as a Training Officer at npower. From 2002 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Organizational Performance Consultant at T-Mobile.
In 2010, they joined Sparkle Develop as a People, Inclusion & Leadership Director, where they worked on a project basis, delivering strategic human resource management, complex case management, and executive leadership development. Rebecca also provided coaching services and helped individuals and teams lead with authenticity and confidence.
In 2012, Rebecca worked with HR2day Limited UK as an Organizational Development Consultant & Executive Coach. In this role, they worked with senior leadership teams to plan and implement people development and engagement strategies. Rebecca also served as an executive coach for Managing Directors and Senior Leaders.
Rebecca joined the Scotswood Area Strategy in 2012 as a Youth and Development Project Manager, providing leadership to make a positive impact on the local community through community development, youth work, and family support. Rebecca developed the business plan, secured funding, and formed strategic alliances to strengthen the organization's status.
From 2014 to 2019, they worked as an Associate Lecturer in Leadership & Management at Newcastle University. Rebecca delivered leadership courses to local and global businesses and was a lecturer in the Chartered Management Institute programs. Rebecca also served as part of the executive coaching team working with senior leaders.
In 2015, Rebecca took on the role of HR Manager (Interim) at PALRAM Industries, where they managed the people strategy for Europe. Rebecca developed the HR strategy, provided coaching, designed a leadership development program, and handled employee relations.
In 2016, they became a Director at River Tees Engineering Limited, a company that works with the marine and offshore sectors. Rebecca managed the company's riverside facilities and granite quayside facility at Haverton Hill.
Since 2019, Rebecca has been working as a Coach - Mental Health at Sanctus.
Throughout their career, Rebecca has demonstrated expertise in organizational development, executive coaching, leadership development, and training. Rebecca holds professional certifications, including PCC and FCIPD, and has a Master's degree.
Rebecca Armstrong PCC, FCIPD, MSc has a diverse education history. Rebecca obtained their MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Sunderland, graduating in 2007. Rebecca furthered their education at the Coaches Training Institute, where they earned a CPCC credential in 2011. In 2012, they attended Gateshead College, completing a Level 7 in Strategic Leadership and Executive Management. Continuing their professional development, they pursued an additional certification in Employment Law, obtaining a Post Graduate Certificate from Robert Gordon University in 2016. Rebecca also holds various certifications, including a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation, which they achieved in 2020. Rebecca has also completed courses in People Analytics, Mental Health First Aid, and is certified as a Professional Co-Active Coach.
