Ellissa Tomich

Ellissa Tomich is an experienced environmental professional with a robust background in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Principal Environment and Environment and Communities Superintendent at Sandfire since July 2020, Tomich previously held positions such as Environmental Advisor at NRW Civil & Mining and Environmental Advisor at Mineral Resources Limited. Tomich also served as General Manager for Health, Safety, Environment, and Community at Capital Metals plc and gained experience as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant with Cancer Council Western Australia. Earlier career roles include Environmental Engineer at ArcelorMittal and Mine Closure and Rehabilitation Advisor at BHP, among others. Tomich holds a Master's degree in Mining and Energy Law and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Environmental Science from The University of Western Australia.
