Josh Townsend

Josh Townsend has worked in various roles in the corporate world since 1999. Josh started their career as President/COO of Land Rover Jaguar Group, where they were responsible for the nation's largest privately held Land Rover Jaguar dealer group. Josh successfully negotiated the sale of the group to multiple publicly traded companies and retained 98% of staff at VP level and above over a 13 year period. In 2013, they became Principal at Ligavit, working with mid-cap Private Equity groups on a variety of pre-divestiture companies acting as Interim CEO. In 2017, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of Recess Clothing Company, a men & women's retail apparel company with international manufacturing and distribution. Josh was responsible for all day-to-day operations, oversight, planning, Board of Directors, communications, and compliance, and created and installed all initial and on-going startup operating systems, processes and procedures. In 2018, they became Chief Operating Officer at IEKO Inc, a producer of biodegradable and compostable packaging. Josh was responsible for the design of initial sales, sales support, operations and manufacturing systems, and established manufacturing and sourcing offices in Shanghai. In 2019, they were appointed President CBD at KushCo Holdings, Inc., where they were responsible for the day to day operations of the CBD ecosystem. In 2020, they became Chief Executive Officer at Sandland Sleep, and in 2022, they were appointed Operating Partner at Gotham Green Partners and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Amuse.

Josh Townsend obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern California.
