Siddharth Kalgutkar

Siddharth Kalgutkar has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on sales and marketing. Siddharth currently holds the position of Regional Director of Sales - Northern Alberta at Sandman Hotel Group. Previously, they worked as a Senior Sales Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown - Concord Hospitality Enterprise from 2018 to 2022 and as a Sales Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown from 2017 to 2018. Siddharth also served as the Director Of Sales & Marketing at JHM Interstate India Hotels & Resorts from 2012 to 2015, where they conducted market research, developed pricing strategies, and implemented business acquisition strategies. Prior to that, they were the Head of Sales - Western Region at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group from 2010 to 2012, where they identified key source markets and developed business strategies for revenue growth. Siddharth also worked as an Associate Director of Sales at Accor India from 2009 to 2010, overseeing pre-opening activities and market research. Siddharth held the role of Associate Director of Sales at Oakwood Premier Mumbai from 2008 to 2009, focusing on marketing, PR, and market penetration pricing. Earlier in their career, Siddharth served as a Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Mumbai from 2006 to 2008, where they achieved significant growth in room nights through account acquisition and client relationship management. Siddharth began their career as a Sales Executive at Palm Meadows Club in 2004.

Siddharth Kalgutkar began their education in 1999 at the AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, where they obtained a diploma. Siddharth then pursued further studies at the Merit Swiss Asian School of Hotel Management from 1999 to 2001, earning another diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management. In 2002, they attended the Glion Institute of Higher Education and completed a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management. In 2009, they enrolled at ICFAI University and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance in 2012. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, Siddharth pursued an MBA & MscIM at Vancouver Island University, focusing on Marketing & International Business.
