Dr. Majed Bouchahma

Dr. Majed Bouchahma is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of information technology and software engineering. Currently serving as a Swift Accelerator Facilitator at Sandooq Al Watan since February 2023, Dr. Bouchahma trains students in iOS application development. As an Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Higher Colleges of Technology since February 2019, extensive teaching experience includes prior roles as Head of the Information Technology Department and Assistant Professor at the University of Technology and Applied Science Oman, as well as Assistant Professor at Nizwa University. Earlier in the career, Dr. Bouchahma held positions as a Software Engineer at Kyodo News, SAP Basis Consultant at Valeo, and Programmer at Picosoft. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and Computer Vision for Coastal Management from Keio University, a Master’s degree in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, and an Engineering degree in Software Engineering from Institut Superieur d'Informatique Tunis El Manar.
